How to get started with FPV flying?
FPV flying takes more technical knowledge than DJI drones, but it rewards you with absolute freedom of movement and creative footage you cannot capture any other way. Start with the right category.
Beginners: Tinywhoop
Tinywhoop micro drones are ideal for practice. They fly in your living room, they are quiet and safe, with no injuries and no damaged furniture. You learn to control a drone in the simulator and in the air without fearing an expensive crash.
Video creators: Cinewhoop
Cinewhoop drones with propeller ducts are designed for smooth, cinematic footage indoors and close to people. The resulting video with a GoPro or DJI O4 camera rivals professional film crews.
Freestyle and racing
Freestyle drones are built for acrobatic manoeuvres, splits, power loops, dives. Racing drones maximise speed for timed laps on a track. Both types are available as DIY kits and ready to fly RTF sets.
Exploration and remote missions: Long Range
Long range FPV drones with an ExpressLRS or CRSF system fly kilometres away for terrain exploration, mapping or remote monitoring. They require piloting experience and knowledge of airspace regulations.
