Converters
Converters let you connect different video and signal standards, for example converting an analog FPV signal to HDMI for viewing on a TV, or analog to digital conversion for recording FPV footage. Practical for pilots who want to display or record the drone feed on a non-standard output. See FPV monitors and video transmission.

Converters for FPV and drones, an overview
Converters solve situations where you need to connect two devices with different video or signal standards.
The most commonly used converters
- AV to HDMI converter: converts an analog FPV signal (composite) to HDMI for display on a TV or monitor with an HDMI input; useful for a spotter or presentations
- HDMI to AV converter: the opposite direction; for connecting an HDMI output (e.g. DJI goggles) to an analog monitor
- Analog FPV recorder (DVR): captures and records the analog FPV signal to a microSD card; for archiving footage from your goggles
- Video splitter: splits one video signal into multiple outputs; for viewing on several monitors at once
See FPV monitors, video transmission and FPV goggles.
