TX Modules
TX modules extend your radio with another link system: all you need is a JR bay slot and you can fly ELRS 2.4 GHz as well as long range 868/915 MHz. In stock: RadioMaster Ranger and Bandit modules, BETAFPV, Happymodel ES900TX with up to 2 W of output, or Emax Aeris.

When to reach for a TX module
- Upgrading an older radio: a radio with a JR bay moves to modern ELRS without being replaced
- Long range: an 868/915 MHz module with 1 to 2 W of output for flights far beyond ordinary 2.4 GHz
- Backup and experiments: a second system without a second radio
What to watch out for
Check the slot size (full size vs. micro/nano, adapters exist) and the module's supply voltage. You will need a matching receiver for the module and possibly a better TX antenna. Radios with a JR bay are in radio controllers.
