RX Antennas
RX antennas are the most frequently replaced part on a drone: they break in crashes and a worn antenna means a failsafe at the worst possible moment. Keep spares for your system on hand, over 40 types in stock for ELRS and TBS Crossfire in the 2.4 GHz and 868/915 MHz bands.

How to choose an RX antenna
- Band: must match the receiver, 2.4 GHz for standard ELRS, 868/915 MHz for long range
- Connector: most often U.FL/IPEX on small receivers, MMCX or SMA on larger ones
- Length and design: short antennas for whoops, long ones with the active tip outside the carbon for big builds (carbon shields the signal)
Practical tip
Route the antenna so the propellers cannot hit it and keep the active tip away from carbon and power wires. Receivers are in the drone receivers category, antennas for your radio in TX antennas.
