The most important FPV spare parts
FPV flying comes with crashes, that is part of the game. The key is to have the right spare parts ready for an immediate repair in the field.
Propellers
Propellers are the most frequently purchased item. Keep a stock of at least 4 to 6 pairs. Composite props (Gemfan, HQProp) offer better performance and durability. See FPV drone propellers.
Motors and ESC
Motors are the second most common casualty after crashes. Know your motor's KV and size and keep 1 or 2 spares. ESC and stacks are more durable, but a backup unit comes in handy.
Flight controllers and electronics
A quality flight controller is the heart of your drone. Check Betaflight compatibility and a sufficient number of UART ports. Add a GPS module for the RTH function.
Video and RC systems
Video transmitters (VTX) and receivers are key for the control link and video feed. Drone antennas have a major impact on signal range, so this is not the place to cut corners.
