    Why choose an analog video system?

    Analog transmission has been the proven choice of FPV pilots for more than a decade. Even though HD systems offer higher resolution, analog still has its place:

    • Lower latency: under 20 ms compared to 25 to 50 ms on digital systems
    • Lower price: a complete analog kit costs significantly less than DJI O4
    • Robustness: under interference the signal gets noisy instead of freezing like digital
    • Availability: broad compatibility between camera and VTX brands

    What does an Analog Video Kit include?

    • VTX: a video transmitter with 25 to 600 mW output on the 5.8 GHz band
    • FPV camera: a compatible analog camera, typically with a StarLight sensor
    • Antenna: a basic antenna included for immediate operation
