How to choose an analog camera
- Size: nano (14 mm) for whoops, micro (19 mm) for most builds, mini and full for larger frames; the size must match the mount in your frame
- Resolution: 600 to 1800 TVL; a higher number means a sharper image in your goggles
- Field of view: typically around 150 degrees for freestyle and racing
- Sensitivity: Starlight sensors (such as the Pilotix C3) can see even in very low light
Proven models
Long-time favorites include the Caddx Ratel and Ant, Foxeer T-Rex and Toothless2 and RunCam Racer ranges. Pair your camera with a VTX transmitter, or go for a complete analog video kit. You will find digital alternatives in HD cameras.
