What is an RTF set and who is it for?
An RTF (Ready to Fly) set contains everything you need for your first flight, with no soldering, configuration or assembly. Ideal for:
- Beginners entering FPV flying
- Pilots moving from DJI quadcopters to FPV
- Experienced pilots looking for a reliable backup or second setup
What does an RTF set typically include?
- FPV drone: most often in the 65 to 85 mm size (the number indicates propeller size), with Betaflight pre-configured
- Radio controller: the manufacturer's basic controller, bound directly to the set
- FPV goggles: usually analog; digital video is the exception in RTF sets
